APM Lighting Technician
Position Summary:
The Lighting Technician sets up, operates, maintains, and troubleshoots theatrical and event lighting systems. They program lighting consoles for shows and special events, working with the Entertainment team to deliver high-quality visuals for guests of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
Lighting technicians are responsible for the programming, operation, and ongoing maintenance of highly specified lighting, video, and stage effect systems in a wide range of entertainment venues onboard.
With access to the latest theatre technology from leading industry brands such as MA Lighting, Vari-lite, GLP, Martin, ETC, and Green Hippo, candidates will have the tools they need to create exceptional light shows and immersive environments as part of dynamic and engaging passenger programmes.
Lighting technicians are responsible for not only operating each lighting element but also ensuring the integrity of every show remains true to its original lighting design, week after week.
Designing, programming, and operating truly unique shows for fly-on entertainers will give the successful candidate the opportunity to bring entertainment to life while leveraging flexibility and cutting-edge resources.

Applicants must be self-motivated, creative and driven to deliver an outstanding product, with great communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of the foundation of guest service; ability and willingness to deliver outstanding service to our guests.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years' professional work experience operating, designing and maintaining theatre, touring and live entertainment lighting systems including experience with MA Lighting consoles.
Command of the English language, both verbal and written.
Strongly Preferred:
Previous experience with Hippo and Catalyst media servers, pyrotechnics and other stage effects is highly desirable.
Contract Details:
6/2 (continual rotations of 6 months on-board followed by 2 months of vacation).
Shared cabin with private bathroom facilities.
