Suite Experience Concierge
Position Summary:
The Suite Experience Concierge provides personalized, high-level service to suite guests, ensuring an exceptional and seamless vacation experience.
They act as the primary point of contact for guest requests. The role involves anticipating guest needs, resolving concerns promptly, delivering VIP services, and maintaining strong communication with onboard departments to exceed guest expectations and enhance overall satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure full ownership and accountability for the Concierge Lounge to consistently and flawlessly deliver an elevated experience to high-value guests.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the Concierge Lounge are kept to an impeccable standard.
Proactively contact suite and VIP guests upon arrival and continue to contact them throughout the cruise, providing an elevated guest experience.
Upon embarkation, ensure the appropriate welcome letter and collateral have been provided to each suite and VIP guest and set up in line with company brand standards.
Communicate confirmation of reservations and bookings with relevant onboard teams, ensuring each department is aware of any preferences or special occasions.
Plan, organize, and supervise the Suite Welcome Party and daily cocktail hours, including preparation, setup, and all other requirements.
Communicate and collaborate with the Food & Beverage department to ensure consistent quality and a variety of offerings are available to suite guests, appropriate to the time of day.
Provide destination recommendations, including excursions, restaurants, key sights, and travel information.
Continually research and learn all experiences available on the cruise itinerary.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
Extensive experience and knowledge in all aspects of hotel or cruise ship concierge operations.
Strong customer service and well-developed problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in large international teams.
Effective communication skills.
Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of additional languages is a strong advantage.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ progressive management experience in a leading hospitality setting, with concierge experience in Guest Services.
Strongly Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Cruise ship experience is strongly preferred.
Contract Details:
6/2 rotation: continual rotations of 6 months onboard followed by 2 months of vacation.
Shared cabin with private bathroom facilities.
